1. How much does owning a lot at ConTierra cost and what does it include?

Lot prices vary based on proximity to rivers and streams, but the average cost is $200K per 2.47-acre (1 hectare) lot. When you purchase a lot at ConTierra, you receive full, titled ownership of your land in Costa Rica. Ownership includes access to shared infrastructure, community amenities, and membership in the ConTierra HOA, which ensures long-term stewardship of the land and shared values.

2. What are the HOA fees, and how are they used?

HOA fees are calculated annually and are used transparently to cover essential services such as road maintenance, shared infrastructure, spring-fed water systems, common area upkeep, security, and regenerative land care. Detailed breakdowns are provided in the HOA documents.

3. Are there building requirements or architectural guidelines?

Yes. To preserve the beauty, function, and sustainability of the community, we have clear architectural and ecological design guidelines. These ensure harmony with the land, respect for neighbors, and alignment with regenerative principles. Our team is available to support your design process.

4. How close is ConTierra to healthcare, schools, and daily necessities?

ConTierra is located just 25 minutes from San Isidro de El General, the southern zone’s largest city. There, you'll find excellent healthcare providers, dentists, veterinarians, private and public schools, banks, markets, and all essential services.

5. What kind of community can I expect at ConTierra?

ConTierra is intentionally designed as a values-aligned, regenerative community. Residents are a mix of locals and internationals who value ecological living, cultural integration, and neighborly cooperation. Whether you're seeking peace, purpose, or connection, you’ll find room for all three here.

6. Can foreigners legally own land in Costa Rica?
